Thank you to Colonel R. Mortenson, USMC (Ret.) Director of the Illinois Fire Service Institute for hosting the Leadership Under Fire class to over 2 dozen firefighters from across the area. This invaluable class taught the firefighters about unique challenges with large organizations, leading when it counts, 13 executive leadership principles, and the 12 leadership maxims for the individual. There was a lot of knowledge to be gained from this class. We would also like to thank Servpro of Morris/Ottawa for providing breakfast to the firefighters that took the Leadership under fire class which was held at the Dwight Fire Department. Your continued support of the Dwight Fire Department is much appreciated.
