The Dwight Fire Department has received phone calls from area residents asking if we are calling them by phone asking for donations. The Dwight Fire Department or Dwight Firefighters Association will not call you by phone asking for a monetary donation. We urge all residents not to give out any personal information from anyone calling claiming to be raising money for our local fire department.
Today I received a call from 815 374 1085 Dwight IL asking for donations for fire department.I knew it is a scam, because firefighters never ask for donations over the phone. I appreciate if you take necessary action and stop these callers. Thank you
