FF's C. Kozubowski and D. Walker had found the owners lost cat during the search and returned the cat to her unharmed.

On July 16th at 10:39 a.m. Saunemin Fire Protection District was called to a basement fire on Center Street. Dwight Fire Protection District was called to the box alarm. They arrived at the fire with a crew of 5 firefighters to assist. FF's D. Walker, C. Kozubowski, B. Sheldon, E. Theis, and Lt. F. Dizonno performed a secondary search.
FF's C. Kozubowski and D. Walker had found one of the owners lost cats during the search and returned the cat to her unharmed. The owner was so thankful and appreciative. She thanked the firefighters over and over.
