The Dwight Fire Protection District is an part-time / POC fire department. Currently, the Dwight Fire Protection District has 40 members varying from Probationary Firefighter to Fire Chief. Our apparatus include two engine companies, one ladder company, a 3000 gallon tanker/tender, a brush truck and an incident command vehicle. Training occurs every Monday night, and the training staff conducts several other courses as the need arises. The Dwight Fire Protection District provides fire and emergency services to 118 square miles of Livingston/Grundy county.
