Katy Dolan, Addison Perez, Landon Brown, June Wood, and Tessa Coughlin arrived at Dwight Grade School in style on Thursday. They were aboard 1812, the Dwight fire engine!
Katy and four other students won a contest sponsored by the fire department. It's aimed at raising awareness about smoke detectors, good batteries, and escape plans.
Lt. Steve Bradley, Public Education & Fire Prevention Officer, said they have the kids take the coloring page home. Then the kids return them, and five are chosen by the Dwight Firefighters.
