The 1997 Pierce Aerial 100 ft Tower Ladder is replacing a 1988 Grumman Aerialcat 100 foot straight stick. This tower ladder will give us more versatility and provide us with some capabilities that the straight stick would not. We protect the Fox Developmental Center which is a state facility for the disabled. The tower ladder will be more useful if we needed to rescue individuals from this location. It will also be useful for incidents that occur at our local factories and central business district.
