The Dwight, Limestone, and Salina Fire Protection Districts are working in partnership to offer a Basic Operations Firefighter Academy in February 2017.

This firefighter academy will provide the cognitive objectives as well as hands-on practical skills in all three modules of the OSFM B.O.F. curriculum, including extensive live-fire evolutions. Students will receive repetitive practice, review, and testing on all aspects of the program. The program will also include Hazardous Materials Operations, Technical Rescue Awareness, CPR certification, Fire Service Vehicle Operator, NIMS IC 100 & 700, and the “Courage to be Safe” program.
