Chicago ambulance ends up in Dwight after high speed chase.

At approximately 6:35pm Dwight fire and EMS were called to assist with the end of a high speed chase. The chase had started in Chicago and traveled approximately 70 miles south. The chase ended when Chicago ambulance 66 had suffered multiple damaged tires from the incident. The suspect then led police on a short foot chase before being stopped by officers and K9 units. Suspect was treated by Dwight EMT'S and Paramedics for a dog bite and transported by ambulance to local hospital.
