The Dwight Fire Department was called to a fire at LSC Communications shortly before seven tonight. The fire was reported in a press on the south side of the building. Arriving fire companies found a large press machine on fire with fire venting through the roof as well. Crews made an aggressive fire attack and contained the fire to the press units and roof area. The sprinkler system was activated upon their arrival as well. Initial investigation does not prove any foul play. The Dwight Fire Department was assisted by the following departments: Gardner, Odell, Mazon, Pontiac, Limestone, Emington-Campus, Dwight EMS and Duffy Ambulance. Fire investigators do not have an estimated loss at this time and no injuries were reported.
