Thank you to Colonel R. Mortenson, USMC (Ret.) Director of the Illinois Fire Service Institute for hosting the Leadership Under Fire class to over 2 dozen firefighters from across the area. This invaluable class taught the firefighters about unique challenges with large organizations, leading when it counts, 13 executive leadership principles, and the 12 leadership maxims for the individual. There was a lot of knowledge to be gained from this class.
