Friday, October 12th, the Dwight Fire Protection District concluded its Fire Prevention Week with their annual Open House. 400+ people came down to the Dwight Firehouse to enjoy the activities, a visit from Smokey the Bear, food from Station 343, a meet-n-greet with exotic pets from Coal Black Exotics. Community businesses such as Dwight Economic Alliance, Central Illinois Ace Hardware, Servpro of Morris/Ottawa, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers, Dwight EMS, and MABAS-Illinois (15) were on hand to discuss and giveaway fire safety materials. |
