On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, Emington celebrated their 50th Anniversary 3rd of July festivities. Multiple fire departments were present, including Dwight Fire Protection District and several area EMS departments. All Fire and EMS departments participated in a parade which was followed by fireworks.
